WITH-TV feels that one of the major areas of concern to the community of people with disabilities is equity in the public school system k-12. Whether the issue is one of full inclusion in the neighborhood school or support at alternate setting the issues remain the same; exposure and mastery of the appropriate curriculum and social development as a complete and well rounded citizen. We know the struggle first hand and mean to address it in all of it's permutations from a voice of experience. We will create and offer on line a "Cyber School System". We will host electronic pre-k, elementary, middle, high and post secondary schools. At these sites we will detail standard curriculum at every grade level system wide. We will work with
manufactures and publishers of educational materials to address the complete inclusionary needs of student, parent, teacher and administrator. We will work to be the number one complete resource for all in the issue of successful inclusion. In addition to product, and curriculum we will endeavor to create a work force of professional educators and parents to serve as a support system through the website, our materials, and a phone line . We will address the academic and social needs of the student with disabilities and her family, teacher, and school. Many school systems, districts, schools, teachers lack the training, knowledge, money, resources, and sometimes the interest to effectively include the student with a disability in order to benefit that student and her peers without a disability. We will
attempt to create a "shadow" or online school system to follow or go with that student from pre-school to final graduation wherever that may be.
